Apart from Stock Cash and Commodity Market Stock Futures and Options are good place where you can make profit easier than cash market. Stock Futures and Options gives you facility to trade with in a lot size( lot size decided by exchange, it is the bunch of shares) so you can trade in lot instead in single share. Trader can also trade in the Futures and Options of an Index which requires less capital with the same profit margin.
Let me explain one by one what is Stock Futures and Stock options.
The National Stock Exchange of India Limited (NSE) start trading in derivatives with the support of index futures on June 12, 2000.Indian Stock exchanges introduced stock futures just before Diwali(Indian Festival) on November 9, 2001. Single-Stock futures are the contracts with underlying asset being on stock. In Futures you can take yourplace for three months, that is applicable for both sell and buy, to take a position in futures an initial margin is required to paid. Contract value always calculated by multiplying the price at which stock buy /sell with lot size. Stock Futures just like future index, generally the futures price are higher than spot prices of the underlying stocks. Stock Futures give you permission to take longpositions against less capital such as paying 20% initial margin one can takes place for 100.
The Exchange(NSE) introduced trading in index Option on 4,June 2001 that is also based on Nifty Futures. NSE also became the first exchange which introduced trading in option on individual securities. Option contracts give an opportunity to the share holder to buy or sell their stock at predefined price. In Option market you can trade either in call or put, both terms used in option market for trading. When market is bullish then buyer use call option in this investor can buys the assets at a given price has known as strike price and cannot decide whether he wants to sell it or not. On the other hand when market is bearish then you can use put option in this situation buyer gets the right to sell his assets at the given price (strike price).
Difference AmongFutures and Option
The main Difference is that In Stock Futures both buyer and seller has the right to obligate buy/sell the underlying share, but in Option market the option buyer has the right and not the obligation, to buy or sell the underlying share.
In both futures and Option all contract goes on paper work or you can say that in this no trade on actual commodities all trade considered as paper business. You can square up your position with in a day otherwise it will settled on expire day of contracts. In Stock F&O investor can gets huge profit against less capital.
Generally exchanges give the F&O facility and you can trade in this with less amount, but before trading you have to readout whole document related to terms and condition of exchanges. You can take free Stock tips and whole knowledge about Stock Futures and Option from many resources.

When you buy stock, you do so with the belief that the price of the stock will go up, and you will be able to sell your stock for a profit. If the price of the stock falls, you will sell it for a loss. Call options can be used in either situation – to enhance the profits of rising stock, or reduce the loss from falling stock. In today’s erratic economy, it is essential that beginning investors understand options and use them for safer investing. Sell Call Option Example
The easiest way to start with options is by selling a call option when you buy stock. This combination of buying stock and selling call options is referred to as a “covered call”. Here’s how it works.
You buy 100 shares of stock, and at the same time (or later) you sell one call option. You are then obligated to sell the stock at a pre-determined price before the option expires (usually within 45 days or so). If you set the pre-determined price high, the option is likely to expire and become worthless. If you set the pre-determined price low, it is likely that you will be forced to sell the stock on expiration day for that price.
Let’s see a specific example. Suppose it is Jan 12, and ABC Company is selling for $46. I want to add the protection that call options bring. I buy 100 shares of ABC, and sell the February 50 Call option for $2.50. This means that my net cost is $43.50. As long as the price of ABC stays below 50 until February 20, the option will expire worthless, and I get to keep the $2.50. This adds a few percentage points to my monthly return and provides protection in case ABC falls a little. If ABC rises above 50, I will sell it at 50, keeping the $4 profit on the stock, and the $2.50 from the sale of the option. That’s about 15% in a month. The covered call can be used in several different ways depending on the market and the investment results desired. There are also several other more advanced options strategies that use selling call option to provide additional income.

Futures Options Vs Stocks Options
While we may be talking about how profitable and consistent money can be made by selling options, some traders have popped the most fundamental but yet critical question on what type of options to sell. Our context here refers to stock options, ETFs options or futures options.
Most options sellers may be familiar with the concept of selling options against equities which can include stocks or ETFs, but selling options against futures contract may be a totally new ground to them. The basic principles may remain generally the same, but one must be aware of certain aspects which could make one more appealing or fearful than the other.
ETFs options work very much the same as stocks options. They are treated like just normal stocks except that while stocks can crash to zero value, the possibility of ETFs crashing to zero is extremely small, which I will not commit to saying zero. Something very drastic must have happened to the market to cause this to happen since ETF like SPY comprises of some of the strongest companies listed in the exchange. And for that reason, I generally prefer to sell put options on ETFs. Of course, that’s just my preference and I believe you have yours too.
I have heard of some traders who did options selling on stocks and I mean on big companies which failed. Depending on the risk management approach that was taken, disastrous to the trading account could have been avoided or minimized then.
The risk associated with selling options on stocks may therefore be perceived as relatively higher and thus lead to a possibly higher margin. Premiums obtained from selling stock option and future options differ. Margin requirement from selling stock options can be 10, 20 times higher than the premium collected while that for future options can be just a few times higher. The return on investment is thus viewed as better for doing options selling on future contracts.
Strike price consideration is also a critical factor when deciding between stocks and futures options. For futures options, it is possible to sell very far OTM options and yet collecting a reasonable amount of premium for it. However, for stock options, one would have noticed that after just a few strikes OTM, the premium to a miserable amount which might not be worth the risk to do so.
With a lower margin and possibility of getting a substantial premium for very far OTM options, futures options seemed a much choice than stocks options at this moment. However, one must be aware that futures come with contract dates which they mature or expire. They are unlike stocks or ETFs which one can hold upon assignment on the expiry dates. Risk management for futures and stocks options selling hence differ. Futures contracts like the E-mini S&P (symbol ES) also come with different contract dates, e.g., the September, December contract etc. ES options expiring in the months of October, November and December are associated with the underlying future contract which expires in December. Such knowledge can be important to a trader who is trading these options though the price difference between the various future contracts can be small.
